    sanchovape Nee, leider nicht. Weder das eine noch das andere. Also zumindest fühle ich mich damit nicht eingedeckt. 😄 In Deutschland bekommst Du es gar nicht. Nur für 17,99€ beim Hersteller. Headshot war ja schon immer recht teuer aber damals habe ich auch für 20€ ein 50 ml-Liquid gekauft. Dann kamen die Longfills und seitdem klingt 17,99€ halt teuer. Mir wäre es das aber immer noch Wert, wenn mir ein Liquid schmeckt.

  • Ellipse RTA by BKS

    Ja, BKS ist ja Blackstar und die waren neben TVGC, SVT am Sputnik beteiligt. Wäre schön nochmal einen RTA neben 415 Mtl, Sputnik, GTR und Gata zu haben bzw. zu mögen. We will see.😄 Vielleicht muss ich mal versuchen den Skyline R zu ergattern oder einen Perseus.

  • Welche Drip Tips und Watt verwendet ihr für MTL

    Ich nutze die 415 Tombo Giri Driptips (auf den 415 RTAs sowieso und da, wo es optisch passt) und Ivant Driptips. Auf einigen GTR auch das GTR Driptip. Auf meinem Gata habe ich welche vom Kayfun, weil Tombo zu dem Plastikbomber nicht passt und beim Sputnik das Originale, weil‘s so passt.


    Mir gefallen die Tombo schon recht gut.

    2 Tage darüber nachgedacht und jetzt den Ellipse gekauft aber auch wieder bei Telegram, weil da gleich die Tabak Chimney dabei war und ich mir so dann ein paar Euro sparen kann. Ich glaube nämlich der Ellipse macht sich bei Tabak ganz gut. Ich bin gespannt.

    Zu mir kommt nächste Woche der Squape A[rise] in 22 mm von einem hier ansässigen Piraten. Vielleicht liest er es ja, hatte vergessen nach dem Nickname zu fragen. Falls Du es liest, dann sei gegrüßt. :winke: Bin gespannt, ob der RTA mir taugt.


    Und ich schleiche immer noch um den Ellipse. BKS war ja am Sputnik beteiligt und ich habe so ein Bauchgefühl, dass der mir gefallen könnte. Hab nach langer Zeit mal wieder Lust Erfahrungen (meist ja schlechte😂) zu machen aber danach weiß ich dann zumindest wieder, woran ich mit meiner bescheidenen Auswahl bin und ja eigentlich NIX brauche.

    The discussion about condensations is a large topic, not easily exhausted in a couple of lines :)


    Trying to keep it short, the amount of condensations depends on the liquid / build parameters, plus on the geometry / specs of the vaporisation chamber. We all love a good and moist vape, however, the more humid your vapor is, the bigger the amount of condensations will be and the more often they will develop / accumulate. That said, condensations will certainly pile up on slots / curves like the one right under the Tripod2 drip tip, but again there is no ideal geometry where the chimney would extend up to your mouth with no discontinuities whatsoever. Especially in extended mode, the extra height creates extra surface for condensations to pile up and extra time for the vapor to cool into small drops. Many people tend to think that funnel-like formations help the condensations fall down to the deck with the help of gravity, but, in reality, the small drops of e-liquid follow their own rules: affinity forces (which are really strong in the case of high viscosity fluids like e-liquid) plus the constant drag exercised by consecutive draws while vaping, will never let the drops fall down, rather than drive them straight to our lips. Spitback, which is not the same with condensations and has to do with coil cracking and sending liquid drops all over, definitely makes things worse when present.


    What can be done:


    - If you just remove your drip tip once or twice per day and clean up with a hanky, then put drip tip back, and this is all it takes to reduce this issue, then this is a good workaround and lets you keep your perfect moist vape.
    - If the issue is more intense, perhaps you need to raise your wattage a bit, or add a tad bit more cotton to your build, to ensure you have a saturated cotton while vaping and not oversaturated. Oversaturated might mislead with good and moist vapor temporarily, but after some time it will lead to over-feeding of liquid.
    - Reduce spitback by making sure your coil is in touch with cotton as much as possible, plus your e-liquid does not have water remains for any reason.
    - As the route of condensed liquid drops towards the mouth would only stop by a sudden bottleneck on their way up, in the case of tight draw vaping with the Tripod2 you can try to install the Nut 5 instead of the Nut 3.5. This way, the Restricted Chimney will still be there for proper geometry, but the Nut 5 will lead to a sudden bottleneck just before the Narrow Drip Tip, thus the majority of drops won’t be dragged upwards.

    Letztendlich hat auch das mich nicht zufriedengestellt und der Tripod 2 durfte gehen. Das ist ne echte Fehlproduktion und kenne ich von keinem meiner RTAs.
